Ballyboy Airfield
Ballyboy's new tarmac runway 11/29 runs parallel to the existing grass runway on the southern side of the airfield. The runway has a 600m usable strip with overruns of 50m at each end. Runway width is 12 metres. As part of the construction, a new tarmac taxiway has been constructed across the existing runway, fully blended with the grass surface, enabling aircraft to move between the runway and hangar areas on hard surface all the way.
